Affordable Air-conditioning is an online wholesaler we do not install units, this way we keep our pricing as low as possible bringing to you Affordable air-conditioning products at great prices all year round with no hidden costs.
Deliveries and Delivery ETA
- We currently deliver and cater only in the Western Cape.
- Free delivery within Western Cape only
- ETA is 4-7 working days from date of purchase.
- RED danger zones within Western cape that we are unable deliver to, we will inform our client to arrange an alternate safe delivery address or the order will be cancelled, refunded and a 15% handling fee will be charged.
Sub-contractors
We are able to assist with recommending a list of reputable air- conditioning installers to install, however the cost of installation is between the subcontractor and client.
- Pricing of our product's are fixed and do not include installation.
Warranty T&C's
Products are eligible for warranty if they have been installed by a qualified air-conditioning installer with the following qualifications and registered documents below:
- Required refrigeration practitioner license from SARACCA. This license ensures compliance with the OHS Act and pressure equipment regulations.
- The installers business/company is CIPC registered.
- Installation must comply with a valid "COC" Certificate of Compliance, a legal document verifying that the electrical work on a property meets safety and legal standards.
Warranty period on valid warranty's
Samsung aircon units
None inverter: 2 years on component's and 5 years on the compressor from date of purchase, full service history required.
Inverter: 2 years on component's and 10 years on the compressor from date of purchase, full service history required.
Alliance + Comfee aircon units
None inverter: 2 years on component's and 5 years on the compressor from date of purchase, full service history required.
Inverter: 2 years on component's and 5 years on the compressor from date of purchase, full service history required.
Alliance Portable units
- Portable units are 2 years from date of purchase.
Warranty application requirements
- Warranty forms must be requested from Affordable Air-conditioning and then completed and mailed back.
- Copy of purchase invoice of the product purchased from Affordable Air-conditioning must be sent.
- Product must be serviced every 6 months or minimum of one major service every year by your installer with a copy of service history.
- Copy of Electrical Certificate of Compliance (CoC)
All warranty claim's with the necessary documentation will be screened for approval.
- Failure to supply any of the above required warranty documentation will result with the submitted warranty being null and void.
Items, component's and scenarios not covered under warranty
- Installation by unqualified installer
- Burnt pcb's due to on site power issues, load shedding or poor installation not CoC compliant
- Normal wear and tear on perishable items E.g. air filters
- Cosmetics
- Covers / panels discoloring, cracking, breaking and rusting due to aging or harsh environment conditions
- No maintenance within 12 months of date of installation or service history
- Salt in the air by costal lining areas, product being damaged or eroded by sea air
- Failure to correctly use the product misuse/abuse
- Signs of the product being modified
- Acts of God
7 day Returns policy for out of box failure / manufacturing defects T&C's
- Product is covered for 7 consecutive days from date of purchase not date of installation
- Covers out of box failure
- Manufacturing defects
- Technical report required from qualified installer with detailed report on fault/manufacturing defect
Customer will be issued with a new replacement unit ETA 4-7 working days subjected to stock via supplier or full refund of the purchase product once returned to Affordable Air-conditioning.

Our privacy policy applies to all users on our website and comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPI").
